Emptiness

I wrote this a long time ago. Not a very good poem.

What is emptiness?
It is when you want to cry,
but tears won't come out.
It is when you try to make friends,
but don't care if you don't have any.

What is emptiness?
It is when your world revolved around laughter,
but now you can't remember how to smile.
It is when you loved to sing and dance,
but now you end up getting stage fright.

What is emptiness?
It is when a friend moves away,
but you feel like they died.
It is when you want to talk to old friends
but feel like they won't remember.

Emptiness is like an emotional poem that makes you feel nothing.

Emptiness is a like a funny joke that causes you not to laugh.

Emptiness is a feeling that reverses other feelings.

But how can emptiness be a feeling, when what you're feeling...isn't there?

JUEVES SANTO

Today's March 20, 2008...Jueves Santo...It's a H-O-L-I-D-A-Y!!!...and i'm still @ the office...so sad...my nose is bleeding...bleeding just thinking almost everybody's home...others on the beach...a lot on vacation....and i'm still confine @ the office...yes, i am!!!...eight...that's 8 hours straight!!!  waaaaahhhh!!! this morning, i went out for breakfast only to discover that restaurants, food chains, turu-turo, etc were all closed...and today, i realized that, everyday, life is indeed unfair...hell, i'm hungry...i have no plans to fast today...somebody just forced me to abstain from eating...so pity...hu!hu!hu!

am gonna treat myself

i still remmbr wen i was a student, palagi akong gutom. Yeah, because that's how i discipline myself 'pag di ko nasunod or may na-miss ako sa sked of d day ko. Every night, i would write the things that I should do the next day to my-to-do-list and if ever something is missed out, alam ko makaka-save ako ksi di ako kakain. tsaka ko na-realize ang lesson. buti na lang pala di ako nagka-ulcer. but now that i've got a job, if i forgot to do something and my bos calls my attention, i would make sure na iti-treat ko self ko after office hours.  hindi naman magastos kasi ice cream lang or fast food chain lang naman ang pupuntahan ko. tapos malling ng konti kahit walang bibilhin. all i want is that when i get home, i'm tired and makatulog agad. di ba? you won't think of anything anymore kahit yong galit ng boss mo? but of course the lesson should be learned. like today, a colleague had this mistake i won't mention. Got no fault today, thank goodness!! pero pack one pack all kami eh so the whole department i belong was called and pinagalitan. okey lang 'yon sanay na ako du'n. Basta ako, kakain ako mamaya sa restoran, pag-out ko.

it's 1:25 pm. am still @ d office. i've got nothing to do so i decided to right something in my blog. it's monday so all d staff were here for the "mass" este for the general staff meeting (start the week right 'ika nga) there, 1st portion-akig to the max, 2nd portion-medyo light na ang akig, 3rd portion-good news, 4th portion-tawanan, 5th portion-medyo bastos na ng konti ang topic, last portion-food (my favorite part) we held our 4th kayaba festival last saturday nov. 17 daming tao. it was indeed a success...it's very timely for d award kayaba received from the 16th KBP golden dove awards as best radio station promotional material...aksyon joel too, was nominated for best public affairs program host--though si korina sanchez ang napili--ka-level ni aksyon J si korina at si manong joe taruc ng DZRH. hehehe!!! i was looking @ d golden dove--gold nga yong color tsaka nakatungtong sa bato yong kalapati. while looking at it, sabi ko kayang-kaya kong gumawa niyan, hehehe. literally saying, kaya ko yun pero sabi ko hindi hihintayin kong mabigay sa kin yan ng KBP. Hahaha!! pero tanong ulit sa self?? kailan kaya yon??? ang hirap yata nu'n....ang dami ko pang kakaining asin..........waaahhhhh!!!!! sige lang day, kayod....lakas ng loob ko ah no?

Positive attitude

today i received a msg 4rwarded  from a fellow otonian. It's about having a positive attitude...duno how many times i've received d same message bt i really like d content. Feeling ko kasi ganito ako...optimistic sa lahat ng bagay...kahit ma-fail, go pa rin....i simply tell myself na, sige lang, ila pa lang na subong...akon buwas....hehehehe! D msg goes like this:

Hello mga kasimanwa!  Sending you a lovely story!

 

I hope to live my life with such positive attitude.

 

 

Guys, let's spread the message to our families and friends! We need this inspiration in Oton, and our common job place, I hope that such attitude will sustain us in our noble responsibility of serving the people of Oton and the country.

Attitude 
 

 

There once was a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the mirror, and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.
Well," she said, "I think I'll braid my hair today?" So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that she had only two hairs on her head.
"H-M-M," she said, "I think I'll part my hair down the middle today?" So she did and she had a grand day.


The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one hair on her head.
"Well," she said, "today I'm going to wear my hair in a pony tail." So she did and she had a fun, fun day.


The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn't a single hair on her head.
"YEA!" she exclaimed, "I don't have to fix my hair today!"


Attitude is everything.


Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
Live simply,

Love generously,
Care deeply,
Speak kindly...... .
Leave the rest to God
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...  It's about learning to dance in the rain.

10 THINGS YOU WOULDN"T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT ME:

1. I am wild. Yeah, I dance wildly sa banyo, sa kuwarto, sa kusina, sa sala, basta may disco music go, go, go. kis-a galingin lang ulo ko. Once, my high school dance group naki-showdown sa isang group. Expose vs explorer girls yata yun. When I jump and turn ayon, di ko alam kung saan na 'ko nakaharap. buti na lang natapos agad. D maglingin ulo ko eh 1 am na.

2. I can kill. yeah, I think so. I hate mosquitoes so ginapatay ko na sila. I kill people in my dreams, too. Especially if they've done enough damage and destruction to others. I can kill with my bare hands. Hahaha! siguro 'pag galit na talaga ako. Klaro lang, I haven't killed anyone except lamok. But try hurting me, huh!

3. I have a tweezer with me all the time. Ewan, it's a bad habit lang that I wanted to pluck ng nag-eeskandalong eyebrow. Sabi, d main function of our eyebrow is to prevent the rain from flowing into the eye...pero pag wala sa lugar, bad d ba?

4. I am beautiful. Ask my mother. Walang kokontra. Ask Kia and Nathan. They'll tell you about the most beautiful girl in this world. Hahahaha!!! D ba, we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God???

5.I was a fairy. Or so I thought in my past life. I thought that I was once from a land of beautiful fairies. Alam mo 'yun yong tipong kulang na lang sa akin pakpak??

6. I am a frustrated singer. I once joined a contest and won a consolation prize. At least nag-try ako....pero promise di ko na uulitin.

7. I am a princess. No, a queen, yeah. Simple man lang magbutang crown sa head. Tag-79.99 sa mall may scepter pa. Once, nag-agawan kami ni Kia.

8. I am a horror movie-addict. I've watched most of horror movies. May na-miss pa ayhan ako??? If u have watched indie horror films, can u tell me the title?  But mind you, I hate love stories....nah!

9. I am idealistic. I hate weak people. I don't want friends who can't stand firm on their decisions. Seryoso na 'to.

10. I am prepared to die.Di ka ya haw??? Siyempre pag tapos na mission ko sa kalibutan nga

it's juz a normal day....i woke up @ 4 am. Gising na rin c athan.i took a bath (whew! it's too cold!), dressed up, coffee and by 5:30 am on board d patrol 2 d ofis. 5:35-punched in, review/edit news. 6 am it's aksyon balita numero uno w/ aksyon alvin dennis arabang. done by 6:30. review news again 4 aksyon balita. 7 am- on board again w/ aksyon alvin. funny lang before our extro, aksyon joel entered d announcer's booth asking for something from aksyon alvin w/ his loud voice. Hahaha! saka niya na-realizeam on air. it's juz fortunate d background music 4 balitang espesyal was loud enough. di siya masyadong narinig on air. Hehehe! But then again i salite aksyon joel kasi, nominated siya for d KBP awards. He's going 2 subic today 2 attend d awarding. wish k lang he won't forget my pasalubong. it's only 8 am. am looking 4rward 4 a productive day. mas maraming news, mas gusto ko. mas exciting....everyday, i encounter various events---different news-brutal killings, gory incidents, sexual harassments...all.. good news bust mostly bad ones. Sometimes I ask myself why?  But this world is much more complicated than i thought to have answers to my question.  and im tired of thinking about it. so i juz told myself na lang, go, go w/ d flow...seryoso ba?
